GlucoseSync
LiveOpen SourceOpen-source CGM companion for Android and Wear OS
About GlucoseSync
GlucoseSync is an open-source companion app for continuous glucose monitors. It connects to CGM cloud platforms (Medtrum EasyView and Abbott LibreLinkUp) and also supports self-hosted Nightscout and local xDrip+ for cloud-independent access — to display real-time glucose data on your Android phone and Wear OS watch. Dexcom support is coming soon. Built with Kotlin Multiplatform. Because sensor vendors shouldn't decide whether you get a watch app.
Key Features
- Real-time glucose with trend arrows and configurable delta
- Configurable history chart with color-coded glucose trends
- Wear OS watch face complications (glucose, delta, IOB, battery)
- Configurable high/low glucose alerts with background polling
- Insulin pump data — IOB, basal rate, last bolus, reservoir
- Carer/caregiver support for monitoring multiple patients
Supported Sensors
GlucoseSync works with any CGM system that syncs to a supported cloud platform or local data source. Currently supported: Medtrum (via EasyView cloud), FreeStyle Libre (via LibreLinkUp), Nightscout (self-hosted), and xDrip+ (local, cloud-independent). Dexcom support is coming soon. The cloud providers support multi-patient accounts, so caregivers can monitor family members from the same app.
Built for the Wrist
The Wear OS app puts your glucose data exactly where you need it. Five complication providers work with any compatible watch face, showing glucose, delta, IOB, or sensor battery. The watch app includes a sparkline chart, statistics, and pump data — all synced from your phone via the Wear OS Data Layer API.
